RPF stands for Railway Protection Force as the name suggests the Railway Protection Force is similar to police which works only for the Railways. We all know that the Indian Railway is one of the biggest employers in the world.

Let's have a glance at the examination procedure of RPF
● The very first stage of recruitment is the written examination.
● After written examination candidates have to appear for PET or we can say physical Efficiency Test.
● In the next step, a physical measurement test or PMT is conducted.
● After that, a viva-voice test is conducted.
● The next step is document verification.
● Now if you are eligible for any bonus marking then you will get that bonus marking too.
● After that, a medical examination is conducted.
● The written examination will have 120 questions which carry 120 marks. The total duration of the examination is 90 minutes.
● Out of 120 questions, 35 questions will be asked from General Intelligence and reasoning sections. And 35 questions are asked from the arithmetic section; the rest questions are from the general knowledge and general awareness section.
● The question paper will appear in many Indian languages like- Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, English, Manipuri, Bengali, Asami, Odiya, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada and Konkani.
